So, I will be partaking in the O.W.L.s Readathon this year in the hope to knock some of the books off my TBR and also to complete a series or two along the way. I don’t have a set TBR but I will be sharing some of the books that I might read to fit the challenges. I tend to be more of a mood reader than anything else, so I am not going to lie I am a little worried that I might not read all the books on the list. But, I will be keeping you guys up to date on everything with weekly updates.
There are two main events: The O.W.L.s Exams (The Ordinary Wizarding Level) and the N.E.W.T.s (Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Tests). These are the two main exams that the students at Hogwarts take. The O.W.L.s take place in April and the N.E.W.T.s take place in August.
There are 12 reading prompts for each magical subject in the O.W.L.s. Like at school, you can only continue the N.E.W.T.s level for the subjects that you passed at your O.W.L.s level. However, with the N.E.W.T.s you have to three marks for each subject (Acceptable, Exceeded Expectations and Outstanding). – More will be explained about the N.E.W.T.s in August… or just before when I release my TBR for that Readathon. All this information and more can be found on the website: https://www.magicalreadathon.com/induction-to-magical-readathon.
This readathon is based on the O.W.L.s exams. Here is the link to the Magical Readathon website where all the links to the downloadable files are, including the prompts and also the Wizarding Career Guide: https://www.magicalreadathon.com/copy-of-induction-to-magical-readat.

Happy reading and good luck!!!
